Itinerary

Day 1Arrive in Kilimanjaro International Airport, Arusha

After you arrive at the airport, our experienced team guide will greet you and give you a brief overview of the trip. Then, you will be taken to the lodge/Hotel where you can relax. On your first day, you will visit the city museum, the masaai market, and other cultural attractions in Arusha.

Day 2Transfer to Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast at the lodge, you will immediately drive to the Northern parts of Serengeti. You will drive past Lake Natron enjoying great views of this large waterbody and then arrive in the afternoon proceeding to the lodge for lunch. You will then launch an afternoon game drive to the lobo area to search for your favorite wildlife including lions, leopards, zebras, elephants, giraffes, buffalos. Wildebeest migration is normally between October and December meaning depending on the time of your visit, you may witness this amazing wildlife activity. Our experienced guides ensure to follow the best trails to have a closer view of your favorite animals. Retire at the lodge later, have dinner and overnight.

Day 3Serengeti National Park

You will have an early breakfast at the lodge and then hop on your safari vehicle to explore the diverse and abundant wildlife of this region. You will be amazed by the sights and sounds of the Seronera valley, where you will encounter hyenas, leopards, lions, buffalos, hippos, topis, giraffes, and gazelles among many others. You will have a chance to witness the drama and beauty of nature as these animals interact with each other in their natural habitat. Our guides are experts in finding the best game viewing spots and will make sure you have an unforgettable experience. After a full day of safari, you will return to the lodge for a delicious dinner and a cozy night.

Day 4Transfer to Ngorongoro National Park

If you love wildlife, you will enjoy this day of your safari. After a delicious breakfast at your lodge, you will head to Serengeti National Park for another game drive. You will have the opportunity to see more of the amazing animals that live in this vast ecosystem, such as lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras and more. You might even spot some rare or elusive species that you missed before. Along the way, you will also visit some interesting places, such as the Olduvai Gorge, where some of the oldest human fossils have been found. You will have a lunch break on the road to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you will spend the night at a cozy lodge. You will also see more wildlife as you drive through the scenic landscape of Ngorongoro, which is home to the largest volcanic caldera in the world. You will have a relaxing dinner and a good night’s sleep at your lodge, ready for another day of adventure.

Day 5Ngorongoro National Park

After your breakfast on this day, you will drive to the Crater for a game viewing experience in the open side of this conservation area. Predators like the lions, jackals, hyenas, leopards, cheetahs dominate this area and other antelopes, buffalos, zebras, rhinos, hippos, wildebeests, waterbucks, gazelles and many bird species are also seen here. You will have a lunch break in the middle and return to the crater to have a full day excursion into this natural habitat for a variety of wildlife. Retire at the lodge for your dinner and overnight stay after this wild experience.

Day 6Ngorongoro National Park to Selous National Park

You will enjoy this amazing trip to Selous National Park, also known as Nyerere National Park, in the southern part of Tanzania. You will depart from your lodge after a delicious breakfast and embark on a long but rewarding journey through the beautiful countryside. Along the way, you will stop at some of the most fascinating attractions as your driver guides you. You will reach Selous Mapumziko lodge in the late afternoon, where you will have your lunch and relax. Then, you will hop on a boat and explore the park from the water, spotting lions, rhinos, elephants, cheetahs, buffaloes, elands, zebras, and many more animals. You will spend the night at the lodge, surrounded by the sounds of nature.

Day 7Nyerere National Park

You will start your day with a delicious breakfast at Selous Mapumziko lodge, a cozy and comfortable accommodation that overlooks the Rufiji River. Then, you will embark on a morning game drive in Nyerere National Park, the largest and most diverse park in Tanzania. You will have the opportunity to witness the amazing wildlife that inhabits this region, such as elephants, buffaloes, elands, rhinos and zebras. You will also admire the stunning scenery of the park, which features rolling hills, woodlands, wetlands and lakes. After a thrilling morning, you will return to the lodge for a tasty lunch and relax for the rest of the afternoon. You can enjoy the facilities of the lodge, such as the swimming pool, the spa or the library, or simply take in the views from your balcony. In the evening, you will savor a mouthwatering dinner and spend the night at the lodge.

Day 8Transfer to Mt. Kilimanjaro National Park

On this day, we take you to the foot of the mighty Mount Kilimanjaro, the roof of Africa and one of the world’s most iconic landmarks. You will experience the beauty and diversity of this incredible country, from its wildlife-rich savannas to its snow-capped peaks. Your journey begins with a hearty breakfast at the lodge, where you will meet your friendly guide and fellow travelers. You will then hop on a comfortable vehicle and start your scenic game drive through the stunning landscapes of Tanzania. You will see a variety of animals along the way, such as elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and more. You will also learn about the culture and history of the local people, who live in harmony with nature.

As you approach Mount Kilimanjaro National Park, you will be amazed by the sight of the towering mountain, which rises above the clouds and dominates the horizon. You will stop for a delicious lunch at a picnic spot, where you will have a chance to take some photos and admire the views. You will then continue your drive to the park entrance, where you will register and pay the fees.

You will reach your lodge in the evening, after a full day of exploration and excitement. You will be welcomed by the friendly staff and shown to your cozy room, where you will relax and enjoy the amenities. You will then have a mouthwatering dinner at the restaurant, where you will taste some of the local cuisine and share your stories with your fellow travelers. You will then retire to your bed and dream of the next day’s adventures.

Day 9Mandara Hut (2,720m)

We start our mountaineering adventure on the majestic Kirimanjaro mountain, the highest peak on the continent and one of the seven summits of the world. You will experience the beauty and diversity of this natural wonder, from its lush rainforest to its snowy summit.

Your day will begin with a delicious breakfast at the cozy lodge, where you will meet your friendly guide and fellow travelers. You will then drive to the Kilimanjaro National Park gate, where you will register and get ready for your hike. You will start your trek on the Marangu route, the most popular and scenic route to the top of the mountain. You will walk through the dense forest, where you will see many exotic plants and animals, such as giant ferns, wildflowers, monkeys and colorful birds. You will also hear the sounds of nature, such as the chirping of birds, the rustling of leaves and the gurgling of streams. You will feel the fresh air and the cool breeze on your skin as you ascend. After about three hours of hiking, you will reach the Mandara hut, where you will have a picnic lunch and a short rest. It is the first campsite on the Marangu Route, one of the most popular routes to climb the mountain. Madura Hut can accommodate up to 60 climbers in wooden cabins, and has a dining hall, a ranger’s office, and a water supply. You will then continue your trek to the nearby Maundi crater, where you will be rewarded with spectacular views of the Meru and the plains below. You will also see the snow-capped peak of Kirimanjaro looming above you, beckoning you to climb higher. You will then return to the Mandara hut, where you will relax and enjoy the evening. You will have a chance to mingle with other hikers, share your stories and learn more about the mountain. You will also savor a hearty dinner prepared by our chef, who will cater to your dietary preferences. You will then retire to your comfortable bed and sleep soundly under the starry sky. After a perfect introduction to the wonders of Kirimanjaro, You will get a taste of its diverse terrain, flora and fauna, as well as its breathtaking views. You will also challenge yourself physically and mentally, as you hike at high altitude and overcome any obstacles along the way. Day 10Horombo Campsite (3,720m)

We continue our Kilimanjaro adventure! to the roof of Africa and experience the beauty and diversity of this amazing mountain. You will wake up to a delicious breakfast prepared by our friendly staff and get ready for another exciting day of hiking. Our target destination today is the Horombo campsite, which is situated at an elevation of 3,720m. This is where we will spend our second night on the mountain and enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding landscape. The hike today will take us about six hours, depending on our pace and the weather conditions. We will follow a well-marked trail that gradually ascends through the heath zone, where we will see some unique plants and animals that thrive in this harsh environment. As we hike, we will have the opportunity to admire the majestic Mawenzi and Kibo peaks, which are the two highest points of Kilimanjaro. Mawenzi is the older and more eroded peak, while Kibo is the younger and more symmetrical peak. Kibo is also where we will find the famous Uhuru summit. You will be amazed by the contrast between these two peaks and their different shapes and colors. We will reach the Horombo campsite in the afternoon and settle in our cozy tents. You will have some time to relax and enjoy the fresh air and the panoramic views. You will also have a chance to acclimatize to the higher altitude and prepare for the next day’s hike back to the bottom. Our staff will serve you a hot dinner and a warm drink before you retire to your tent for a good night’s sleep. You will need to rest well, as the next day we will face a challenging hike to the bottom.

Day 11Return to the starting point

What a journey it has been! You have seen some of the most amazing sights and experienced some of the most thrilling adventures in Tanzania. But all good things must come to an end, and today is the day you say goodbye to this beautiful country. After a hearty breakfast, you will pack your bags and head down the mountain with your fellow trekkers. You will feel a sense of accomplishment and gratitude as you look back at the peak you conquered. You will also feel a bit sad to leave behind the stunning scenery and the friendly people you met along the way. Once you reach the bottom of the mountain, you will be greeted by your guide who will take you to your hotel or to the airport, depending on your flight schedule. You will have some time to relax and reflect on your amazing trip before you board your plane and fly back home or to your next destination.
