Itinerary

Day 1Golden Monkeys in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, Uganda

Day 1: Hotel pickup to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park & back to Hotel

Early Morning: Your guide will pick you up from your accommodation facility, we recommend the African Tent Resort. Make sure you have packed breakfast and lunch.
Transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park: The journey to the park is filled with beautiful landscapes with giant rolling hills that fill the horizon. if you are staying at one of the resorts on the Islands of the beautiful Lake Bunyonyi you will enjoy the boat ride to the shore of this beautiful Lake.
Golden Monkey Trekking: Once you arrive at the park, you will embark on the Golden Monkey trekking experience. These primates are beautiful, endangered, and agile. They live in bamboo thickets on the lower slopes of the mountains so Trekking them acclimatizes you perfectly to the slight altitude change.
Early Afternoon Lunch: Enjoy your packed lunch at a suitable time during the trek.
Return Journey: After the golden monkey trekking experience, you will start your journey back to your accommodation.
