Solo Traveller

Embarking on a 5-day tour of Rwanda is an experience that promises both adventure and tranquility in equal measure. As a Kenyan traveler, I found this journey to be a seamless blend of cultural immersion and natural exploration. From the moment the tour began, the vibrant city of Kigali welcomed us with open arms. The city tour was an enlightening experience, offering a glimpse into the country’s rich history and resilient spirit. The visit to the Genocide Memorial was particularly moving, serving as a poignant reminder of the past and a beacon of hope for the future. The highlight for me was undoubtedly the gorilla trekking in the misty mountains. Coming face-to-face with these majestic creatures in their natural habitat was a humbling and once-in-a-lifetime event that left an indelible mark on my soul. The golden monkey trekking and the canopy walk added layers of excitement to the wildlife encounters, each activity well-organized and led by knowledgeable guides.
Accommodations throughout the tour were comfortable, providing a cozy retreat after days filled with adventure. The meals were a delightful exploration of local cuisine, with each dish bursting with flavors that are both familiar and exotic to a Kenyan palate.
As the journey concluded, I carried with me memories of Rwanda’s stunning landscapes, from the rolling hills to the serene lakes, each vista more breathtaking than the last. This 5-day tour was not just a trip but a profound journey that enriched my understanding of our neighboring country and left me yearning to return.
For anyone considering a visit to the heart of Africa, this Rwandan tour is an impeccable choice that offers an array of experiences bound to captivate and inspire. It’s a journey that truly embodies the essence of exploration and the spirit of discovery.
