Day 1

Airport Pick-up and Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

Upon your arrival at Entebbe international airport, a driver guide dressed in our company uniform shall receive you take you for a trip briefing and after drive you to Lake Mburo national park. On route, we shall have a stop over at the Uganda Equator in Kayabwe for pictures and lunch.

After you taking your lunch at the Equator, we shall embark on our journey to the park and upon arrival, you shall check in your lodge where you shall have dinner and the overnight stay.

The park is Located conveniently close to the highway that connects Kampala to the parks of western Uganda. It is the smallest of Uganda’s savannah national parks and underlain by ancient Precambrian metamorphic rocks which date back more than 500 million years. It’s a home to 350 bird species as well as zebras, impalas, elands, buffalos, oribi, Defassa waterbuck, leopard, hippo, hyena, topi and reedbuck. Accomodation: Mihingo Lodge (Full board)

Day 2

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

After you have taken your breakfast in the morning, we shall check in the national park for a morning game drive, after we shall have lunch at Mihingo lodge then check out and leave for Bwindi impenetrable forest national park and check in your lodge.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park lies in southwestern Uganda on the edge of the Rift Valley. Its mist-covered hillsides are blanketed by one of Uganda’s oldest and most biologically diverse rain forests, which dates back over 25,000 years and contains almost 400 species of plants. More famously, this “impenetrable forest” also protects an estimated 459 mountain gorillas – roughly half of the world’s population, including several habituated groups, which can be tracked.

This biologically diverse region also provides shelter to a further 120 mammals, including several primate species such as baboons and chimpanzees, as well as elephants and antelopes. There are around 350 species of birds hosted in this forest, including 23 Albertine Rift endemics.

Day 3

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

After having your breakfast in the morning, we shall go for a gorilla trekking briefing and then leave for gorilla trekking. This activity shall take the whole day and we shall go with packed lunch. While there, we shall spend some time watching gorillas play, take photos and record videos. We shall not be allowed to carry hiking sticks while hanging out with gorillas, as the sticks might threaten them. After trekking, we shall return back to Sanctuary Gorilla Lodge.

Day 4

Transfer Back to Entebbe Via Domestic Flight

After having your breakfast in the morning, you shall be transferred from Sanctuary Gorilla lodge to Kihihi aerodrome and be chartered from Kihihi to Entebbe International airport. After landing, you shall be driven to a restaurant for lunch then you shall be driven back to the airport for your departure.
