These markets serve a large number of people and the market vendors constantly yell at the top of their voices in a bid to attract buyers, You will also notice that the city has a large number of motorcyclists, these are known as “boda boda” by the locals and they are the
primary form of transport for the average Kampala dweller, Residents of Kampala city also use another form of transport known as taksi or taxi in English, these are in the form of vans or mini-buses and are known for being stubbornly dis-obedient to the traffic laws and intolerant of other road users.
