Itinerary

Day 1Pick up and transfer to the hotel/ Optional Mabamba /Botanical gardens/ Ngamba island

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, the driver guide from Hospitable Africa Tours and Travel Safaris will be waiting for you. He/she will pick and transfer you to Victoria Rock Resort for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay. Alternatively, after pick up go an optional tour to Mabamba swamp home to the famous shoebill stork. You can as well visit the Entebbe Botanical gardens which hosts various bird s and animal species.  You can also visit the Ngamba island sanctuary to see the endangered chimpanzees which reside there. The boat cruise to and from the Ngamba island sanctuary is an experience on its own. Dinner and overnight at Victoria Rock Resort.

Day 2White water rafting in Jinja

Very early today, have breakfast and rive to Jinja for the experimental white water rafting at the source of river Nile. You will first be briefed on the dos and don’ts and also guided on how to ensure safety during this adventurous experience. Besides white water rafting you can do other activities such as canoeing swimming sunbathing and nature walks among others done at and around the source of the Nile. Thereafter, drive back to Victoria Rock Resort for dinner and overnight stay

Day 3Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

Day 3 of our adventure takes us to the majestic Murchison Falls National Park, a gem within Uganda’s vast wilderness. As we bid farewell to the morning’s first light, we embark on a journey filled with natural wonders. The path leads us through the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, a haven for bird enthusiasts and home to the magnificent rhinos. Here, amidst the calls of the wild, we pause to marvel at these majestic creatures in their natural habitat. As dusk approaches, we find solace in the embrace of our lodge, nestled within the heart of Murchison Falls. The evening whispers promises of serenity as we settle in for a night under the African sky, with Pakuba Safari Lodge/Red Chille Lodge providing a backdrop for our dinner and dreams.

Day 4Boat Safari on River Nile

Day 4 of our adventure brings an exhilarating start with an early morning game drive across the sprawling savannas of the park. As the first light of dawn breaks, we’ll be on the lookout for the park’s diverse wildlife, from majestic lions to graceful giraffes. The air is crisp, and the land is alive with the calls of the wild.

The excitement continues as we embark on a boat safari along the mighty Nile River. The gentle hum of the boat’s engine is a soothing backdrop to the spectacular sights that await us. We’ll glide past pods of hippos, their eyes peeking curiously above the water’s surface, and watch as crocodiles bask lazily on the riverbanks. The river is also a haven for bird enthusiasts, with a kaleidoscope of bird species adorning the skies and shores.

As dusk falls, we’ll return to our lodge nestled in the heart of Murchison Falls. The evening offers a moment to unwind and reflect on the day’s adventures. Dinner is a sumptuous affair, with flavors as rich and varied as our surroundings. The night at Day 3’s lodge has prepared us well for this moment, ensuring another restful overnight stay as we drift off to sleep under the African stars.

Day 5Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

Day 5 of our adventure leads us to the enchanting Kibale Forest National Park, a sanctuary for 13 primate species, including the intelligent chimpanzees. As we journey towards this primate paradise after a hearty breakfast, our path is graced by an array of bird species, each adding a splash of color and melody to the morning. The park’s primates may also make a surprise appearance, delighting us with their presence. Our day concludes with a serene overnight stay at the rustic yet charming Kibale Forest Camp Chimpanzee Guest Lodge, nestled within the heart of the forest. Here, surrounded by nature’s lullaby, we dine and dream of the wonders that await.

Day 6Chimpanzee trekking & transfer to Queen Eizabeth National Park

The dawn of Day 6 heralded a flurry of excitement as we indulged in an early morning feast, gearing up for the day’s adventure. The air buzzed with anticipation as we gathered for a comprehensive briefing before embarking on the much-awaited chimpanzee trekking. The trek proved to be an exhilarating journey through the whispers of the forest, leading us to witness the marvels of our primate cousins in their natural habitat.

Post the trek, our senses were treated to a guided nature walk to Bigodi Swamp, an ecological treasure trove boasting a kaleidoscope of over 200 bird species, each adding a unique note to the symphony of nature’s soundscape. The afternoon ushered in a change of scenery as we journeyed towards the renowned Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda’s second-largest bastion of wilderness and a mosaic of biodiversity.

As the smallest of its kind in Uganda, Lake Mburo offers an intimate encounter with the wilderness. Upon our midday arrival, we’ll take a moment to rejuvenate before embarking on an evening of exploration. The choices lay before us like paths in the wild: a serene boat cruise on the tranquil waters of Lake Mburo, where the gentle breeze whispers tales of the park’s beauty, or an exhilarating evening game drive across the sprawling plains, where the wild residents graze under the fading sunlight. Day 9Game Viewing/Nature walk and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
