After checking in and refreshing, you will visit the Uganda Reptiles Village, a sanctuary for rescued reptiles such as snakes, crocodiles, tortoises, lizards and Nile crocodiles. You will learn about the different species and their habitats, and also get a chance to hold some of them if you are brave enough.
In the afternoon,
We drive you to Mabamba Wetland, a Ramsar site and one of the best places to see the elusive shoebill stork. You will take a motorized local canoe ride through the swamp and look for this rare bird that is linked to many indigenous cultural beliefs. You will also see other waterbirds such as kingfishers, herons, egrets and ducks on this special boating safari segment. You will return to your hotel in the evening for dinner and overnight.
