Welcome to Kampala, the capital city of Uganda, the pearl of Africa. In this 2-day tour, you will experience the rich culture, history and nature of this vibrant city that is filled with warm, friendly and extremely hospitable people who love to show off their culture to visitors and tourists.

Morning to Mid-morning,
You will be picked up from the Entebbe International Airport by our friendly driver and guide, who will take you to your hotel in Kampala. Depending on your arrival time, you can relax at the hotel or explore the nearby attractions.
In the afternoon,
You will start your city tour with a visit to the Uganda Museum, where you can learn about the diverse heritage and traditions of the Ugandan people. You will also see exhibits of ancient artifacts, musical instruments, wildlife fossils and more.
Next, you will head to the Kasubi Royal Tombs, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the burial place of four kings of Buganda, the largest kingdom in Uganda. You will admire the impressive architecture and craftsmanship of the tombs, which are made of reeds and grass. You will also witness the royal rituals and ceremonies that are still performed by the caretakers of the site. There are souvenir stalls on site where you can browse through the collection and hopefully find an item of your liking.
Late Afternoon
After that, you will drive to the Namirembe Cathedral, the oldest and largest Anglican cathedral in Uganda. You will marvel at the beautiful stained-glass windows and the panoramic views of the city from the hilltop. You will also learn about the history and significance of the cathedral for the Ugandan Christians.
Late Evening,
You will end your day with a dinner at a local restaurant, where you can enjoy some delicious Ugandan cuisine and some folk-dance entertainment. You will then return to your hotel for a good night’s sleep.
Morning to Mid-Morning
After breakfast, you will depart for Lake Victoria, the largest lake in Africa and the source of the Nile River. You will hop aboard a boat and cruise along the shores of the lake, spotting various birds, fishermen and islands. You will also visit the Ngamba Island Chimpanzee Sanctuary, where you can see and interact with rescued chimpanzees in their natural habitat. You will learn about their behavior, conservation and challenges from the staff and volunteers.
In the afternoon,
You will return to Kampala and drive to the Baha’i Temple, the only one of its kind in Africa. You will admire the stunning architecture and gardens of the temple, which is open to people of all faiths and backgrounds. You will also enjoy some peace and tranquility in this serene place.
Late Afternoon to Evening,
Next, we take you to the Ndere Cultural Centre, where you will experience the diversity and richness of Ugandan culture through music, dance and drama. You will watch performances by talented artists from different regions and tribes of Uganda, showcasing their unique costumes, instruments and stories. You will also join in some fun activities and games with the performers and audience.Â
You will end your tour with a farewell dinner at the Ndere Cultural Center, where you can sample more Ugandan delicacies and souvenirs after which you shall be dropped off at the Entebbe International Airport for your departure flight or *at your hotel if you wish to extend your stay (*Additional cost may apply)
