Airport Pickup and Transfer to Kampala Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by a driver who will transfer you to your hotel in Kampala, the capital city of Uganda. You can spend the day getting settled in and exploring the city.

Morning to Mid morning
We start the Kampala city tour with a visit the Uganda Museum; – The best place to learn Ugandan History and Heritage with more than 100,000 objects on exhibit in the oldest museum in East Africa.
Mid-Morning
Our next site shall be a tour of the Kasubi Royal tombs;- A UNESCO World Heritage Site and a traditional kingdom site of the Ganda people and a burial ground for 4 of Buganda Kingdom’s ancient Kings. The tombs are unbelievably beautiful and built in the traditional Ganda Architectual style.
Early Afternoon to Evening
We sample traditional Ugandan cuisine for lunch at a nearby local restaurant before we head for a walk in the Nakasero Market;- one of the several bustling markets in Kampala. This segment of the tour shall enable us to learn about the history and culture of the city. Return to your Hotel for relaxation

After you have had your breakfast and checked-out of your hotel, we start our road trip to the Murchison Falls National Park with several stop-overs at scenic country side sites, local craft markets, roadside barbecue points (nyama choma) as we close in on one of Uganda‘s most iconic parks that is famous for hosting the world’s most powerful water fall and one of the main tributaries of the world’s longest river, the Nile.

We make our way for Luch at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary before we head into a guided nature walk to see the endangered rhinos and continue to the Murchison Falls National Park and check-in to your Safari lodge for some much-needed relaxation.

Safari in Murchison Falls National Park is always exciting. Today we start with an early morning game drive in the company of a park ranger, we follow well-known animal trails that shall reward us with many wonderful wild game sightings as we drive through in our 4×4 collapsable roof Tourist Van. Expect sighting of elephants, giraffes, lions, crocodiles, hippos, buffalos, migratory and endemic bird species
Early Afternoon to Sunset
We head back to the lodge for Lunch and thereafter enjoy an afternoon boating safari session as we cruise along the Nile River to the base of the Murchison Falls and a sunset return a shore excursion.
Evening to Night
We then head back for campfire session at the lodge + some much-needed relaxation.

Be up for an early morning breakfast and check-out of your Safari lodge before we transfer you to Fort Portal tourism city, a charming town surrounded by crater lakes and the Rwenzori Mountains and doubles as the land of the Kingdom of Tooro which is one of the several monarchies that are thriving in Uganda.
Early Afternoon to Mid-Afternoon
we shall then sample the Tooro cuisine for lunch a local restaurant before we visit the Amabere ga nyina Mwiru Caves and hike to the top of the Fort Portal Crater Lake for stunning views.
We then check-in into our booked accommodation for some much-needed relaxation.
Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale Forest National Park for an amazing and unforgettable chimpanzee tracking experience. The park is also home to 13 primate species and numerous bird species, making it a haven for nature lovers. Accommodation shall be at a booked Safari Lodge within or nearby the Park’s general location.
Queen Elizabeth National Park, home to a wide variety of wildlife including elephants, hippos, and tree-climbing lions. We arrive at the Park and are welcomed by the friendly park rangers as we head for check-in to our booked Safari Lodge accommodation.
Afternoon to Evening
We have our lunch at the Lodge before we head for our early-evening game drive to spot the park’s diverse fauna. This activity provides the best photo opportunities especially along the tracks through the Kasenyi plains, north Kazinga plains and the Ishasha sector which offer guaranteed sighting of Buffalo, Elephants, Antelopes, Warthogs and Baboons.
*Driving with an experienced guide at dawn or dusk is the most successful way to track a pride of lions or hideous leopards. Ranger Guides at the park are available from 6:30am.

Our morning game drive in the park to see the animals at their most active time of day and in particular along the tracks through the Kasenyi plains, north Kazinga plains and the Ishasha sector for guaranteed sighting of Buffalo, Elephants, Antelopes, Warthogs and Baboons
In the afternoon to Evening
We hope aboard a boat as we cruise along the Kazinga Channel (Lake George + Lake Edward) which is the perfect way to view the different species that inhabit the Park ont this 2hour Boating Safari which lets you cruise just meters away from hundreds of Hippos and Buffaloes while Elephants linger on the shoreline. Be sure to spot over 60 bird species on this Boating Safari segment along the Kazinga channel before we head back to the Safari Lodge for some much-needed relaxation. (We shall have pre-packed lunch. * Dinner shall be at the Safari Lodge)
As we drive to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home to the endangered mountain gorillas we will take you through picturesque landscapes and the rural villages of western Uganda.
At 331km², it is home to half of the world’s Mountain Gorillas, whose encounter and consequent eye contact have been described as the most exciting and poignant wildlife encounter in the whole of Africa. With mist covered hillsides, this impenetrable forest is the oldest and most biologically diverse rainforest, with over 400 species of plants. It lies on the edge of the rift valley in southwestern Uganda, and protects at least 120 species of mammals, 346 species of birds, 202 species of butterflies, 163 species of trees, 100 species of ferns, 27 species of frogs, chameleons, geckos, and other reptiles. It is a UNESCO designated World Heritage site popular for Mountain Gorillas and Chimpanzees; these are 2 of the great Apes that are listed as endangered animals in the IUCN Red Data Book.
We arrive at the Park and check-in to our Safari Lodge Accommodation to relax from the long road trip that led us to this beautiful part of the world that is almost tucked-away from the rest of the world.

Early Morning
Have your breakfast early enough and be in time for the Group de-briefing by the lead ranger. Make sure you have all you need in terms of body outfits, shoes, gloves and all necessary gear, local porters are available at a fee. Gorilla Tracking is the major tourist attraction in this park with 4 Gorilla tracking trailheads with 9 groups of Mountain Gorilla families that have been habituated and a maximum of 8 tourists can book to observe these gentle giants per day. Observing man’s distant cousins as they eat, play and bond with their young is unique experience. The Habituation tracking can last anywhere between 3 hours to a whole day, depending on the location of the Gorillas as they freely move in the impenetrable forest, but once we have located them, we only have an hour with these relatives of ours. After the successful track, you will be awarded a Gorilla certificate from a Uganda Wildlife Authority Ranger/ Representative. (*Early Booking + Early Payment = Successful Gorilla Tracking).
After breakfast, We Checkout of our Safari Lodge and head to the Lake Bunyonyi, A beautiful Lake dotted with several Islands. Once we reach the Lake, we shall be welcomed and received by the warm and friendly staff of the African Tent Resort, we hop aboard their motorized boat for a transfer to their facility located on an Island that is adjacent to the famous “Punishment Island” of the Kigezi community. We check into the brilliant African Tent Resort to kick back, relax and enjoy this breathtakingly beautiful lake surrounded by terraced hills.
Choose to relax or arrange for optional activities like take a birding canoe ride, or a visit the nearby Batwa Pygmy village for a cultural experience. (*Lunch & Dinner will be at the African Tent Resort)
Morning
We say our goodbyes to the folks at the African Tent Resort and hope aboard their motorized boat for a transfer to the shore where our driver shall be expecting us to embark on our return drive back to Entebbe, stopping at the Equator for a photo opportunity.
