This 10 Days (9 Nights) safari adventure takes you through the top safari parks in Uganda including the renowned World Heritage Site of the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for an encounter with the mountain gorillas. The trip starts with game viewing in Murchison Falls National Park, later linking you to Kibale Forest which is the best place to see chimpanzees in Uganda. The tour continues into Queen Elizabeth National Park, one of the top visited parks in Uganda before ending your adventure in the famed Bwindi Forests that are home to nearly half of the remaining world population of the mountain gorillas.
DAY1:
ARRIVAL AND TRANSFER TO YOUR HOTEL
Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, Our company driver guide will welcome and transfer you to Hotel Horizon which is a brilliant 4 star Hotel just minutes way from the airport where you will be welcomed with great Ugandan hospitality as you check in to your Hotel room on Full board basis. Make sure to relax and unwind in preparation for the next day’s activities.
DAY 2:
TRANSFER TO MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK WITH STOP OVER AT ZIWA RHINO SANCTUARY.
Early Morning to Mid-Morning
Road Trip to Murchison Falls National Park.
Wake up to the early morning African sun, have your breakfast and meet our Tour driver (who doubles as a guide) for a briefing about your road trip, double check your tourist gear, required documentation (identification and passport) and get your cameras ready since there shall be many great photo opportunities that you shall encounter during your road transfer to the Murchison falls national park, these include vast banana plantations, large African fruit markets, local tribesmen and a beautiful African landscape comprising of endless green hills and valleys.
Murchison Falls National Park is the largest and the oldest National Park in Uganda covering an area of 3,893km sq. It is located in the northern end of the rift valley with over 76 mammal species and 451 bird species.
This Park sits on the shores of Lake Albert which is a one of the sources of the many tributaries that pour their water into the River Nile and is home to massive water falls where the Nile River surges through a narrow gap over a massive drop at a rate of 200 bath tubs per second. Its vegetative cover makes it a perfect place to spot Lions, Leopards, Elephants, Buffaloes, Girrafes, Antelopes, Impalas, Hippos and Crocodiles.
Mid-Morning to Early Afternoon.
Stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and Lunch.
The Tour driver shall make a stopover in a place called Nakasongola for our next activity that shall be a visit to the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. This is a privately owned facility where efforts are in place to re-introduce and increase the Southern-White Rhino species’ population in a bid to save these creatures from extinction. We will have a rhino tracking session at this facility after which we proceed to Masindi town for lunch before we enter Murchison Falls National Park via its Kichumbanyobo gate.
Late Afternoon:
Arrival at Murchison Falls National Park and Lodge Check-in
Upon arrival you shall be welcomed by the Park’s friendly staff adminst sounds of African forest birds and stubborn baboons, The Park staff are warm and friendly and they will help you to check in into your lodge and provide some refreshment.

DAY 3: WILDLIFE ADVENTURE AND BOAT CRUISE IN MURCHISON FALLS
Early Morning to Mid-Morning;
Game Drive
Wake up to beautiful sounds of the African birds and breath-taking views of the African sun rise and after your breakfast embark on your next activity that is a morning game drive led by a Park ranger as we embark on one of the game drive trails and hopefully we shall sight predators in the hunt for an early morning meal.
During this morning game drive we should be able to spot predators such as lions, cheetahs and hyenas as well as grazers like antelopes, impalas and elephants as they enjoy an early morning graze. Many animals tend to roam about during the earlier hours of the day since it is coolest time of the day
therefore animals like warthogs, wild pigs and giraffes can also be spotted during this Morning game drive.
Midday to Afternoon.
Lunch and Boat Cruise to the Bottom of the Falls.
After you have had your lunch, you will embark on your next activity that is a boat cruise to the bottom of the falls. You will be amazed at the sheer beauty as you marvel at the 70m Murchison Falls. Converging in Northern Uganda, the Murchison Falls is sheer pampering for the romantically involved. Couples can stroll across the falls heights or board a boat to an island for a view from beneath. The great clouds of spray splash rainbows across the sky that makes magnificent viewing.
Thus, if you want to strike the ice, take your princess through this park, and you will have her clinging to your arm through the 4 hour journey back to Kampala.
After enjoying your boat cruise, you shall be brought back to the lodge for a camp fire set-up where you shall be entertained by Acholi traditional dancers as the African sun sets on the horizon. Enjoy the night and be sure to have an equally exciting adventure the next day.
DAY 4: KIBALE NATIONAL PARK
Early Morning to Mid Morning.
Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park.
Wake up to the beautiful African sunrise and have your breakfast before checking out of your lodge and say your goodbyes to the friendly Park staff as we embark on our next segment that shall be a transfer to Kibale Forest National Park via Fort Portal town where we shall have a chimpanzee tracking session. You better have your cameras ready because you will surely be blown away by the beauty of the landscape and the road side features during this road trip. Endless rolling hills covered with vast Tea plantations and beautifully terraced agricultural fields are a dominant sight in this part of Uganda, You will surely need to take photos of these beautiful memories. When you see the Rwenzori Mountain ranges on the horizon, this shall be an indicator that we are approaching the park.
DAY 5:
CHIMPANZEE TREKKING AND BIRDING IN BIGODI WETLAND
After an early breakfast, you shall be transferred to the park headquarters for a briefing and thereafter embark on chimp tracking tour that will enable you to encounter various primates in the forests. Kibale forests have the highest chances of meeting chimpanzees than any other place in East Africa. These Chimps are highly intelligent and are known to use hand tools and can walk upright especially when crossing rivers. You shall then proceed to Bigodi swamps for excellent birding in the afternoon where you will witness plenty of beautiful local birds and several exotic migratory bird species in this wetland.
DAY 6:
TRANSFER FROM KIBALE TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
After a morning breakfast, transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park, ‘The Pearl of Uganda’. The high concentration of wildlife coupled with the beauty of Mweya peninsula make honeymooners praise God for what the nature here offers. The Mweya Safari Lodge with its facilities that include executive suites and a magnificent swimming pool makes the hotel a target of honeymooners.

DAY 7:
GAME VIEWING AND A LAUNCH CRUISE ON KAZINGA CHANNEL
After breakfast take a morning game drive for viewing various mammals and birds in the park. Queen Elizabeth National Park is a natural magnet to migratory birds.
In the afternoon undertake a launch cruise along the Kazinga Channel. You will not miss seeing herds of hippos, buffaloes, elephants, waterbucks, and other various antelope species.
DAY 8:
QUEEN ELIZABETH TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK
After you having your breakfast, we shall transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park via Ishasha Game Reserve with the sole purpose being viewing tree-climbing lions as they go about their daily lives in their. This is the only place in Uganda where Lions climb trees and relax at the tree tops. After our encounter with tree climbing lions, you shall then proceed for your lunch and check-in into the magnificent Gorilla Forest Resort Camp.
DAY 9:
HONEYMOONING WITH THE GORILLAS
After a morning breakfast, undertake gorilla tracking with your lovebird. The experience of coming face-to-face with the mountain gorillas is overwhelmingly thrilling! This is the highlight of the honeymoon safari.
Return to the lodge after gorilla trekking for your lunch. In the evening a community visit to the Batwa forest pygmy tribe will reward you with a splendid cultural folk dance for your entertainment.
DAY 10:
BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK TO EBB AND DEPART.
After breakfast, you shall be transferred back to Entebbe international Airport and catch your flight back home. On route, we shall have a stop over at the Uganda Equator in Kayabwe for snaps and the bipolar experiment after we shall embark on our journey to Entebbe international airport.
